Rise is excellent morning commuting music. I'm obsessed with Hers Was As Thunder right now; I've been listening to it ~3 times a day! Every song is wonderfully stellar; I honestly don't know how I'd overlooked the awesomeness of this album amongst Ayla's out-of-this-world discography for years now.... I feel as though I've discovered a hidden gem that was actually laying out in plain sight, ha! Thank You, Ayla, this song really speaks to my heart & moves me in powerful ways. 💘

coz' the artist has something to say. Good lyrics & turn-of-phrase = excellent songwriting. Reminds me of Arlo Guthrie or a young Bob Dylan in a sense while being quite individualistic.
